It’s especially important to connect with the elderly who may have fears around this COVID-19.  On the flip side, our children need to be given information that is age-appropriate.  “We owe it to the elderly and to our children to protect and support them.  We also owe it to our family and friends to stay connected with each other.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

is partnering with Lions Club International

The local chapter Xi Upsilon Omega is asking local churches to participate in an eyeglass initiative designed to prevent blindness, help restore eyesight, and improve eye health and eye care for millions of people by donating used eyeglasses in partnership with local Lions Clubs.  Please bring your no longer used prescription glasses and place them in the colored pink and green eyeglass box located beside the podium in the front of the church. The Sunday School Ministry

Is accepting canned and non-perishable food items as well as monetary donations toward the drive thru the Food Drive held each fourth Saturday of the month from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on the church grounds.  All proceeds go to the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank.  Make check payable to: “Second New Hope Baptist Church; annotate “Food Bank” on the memo line.
